Insurance Coverage and Fees
I am currently a fee-for-service practice. Payment in full is due at time of service. My practice accepts cash, checks, and credit or debit cards. I will provide an itemized bill to submit for insurance reimbursement. It is recommended that you check with your insurance provider to find out what nutrition services are covered under your specific plan. Please keep in mind that you are making an important investment in your health and well-being, which has the potential to pay dividends well into the future through better quality of life and lower healthcare costs.
Participating provider status with select insurance carriers coming soon! Applicable co-pays and deductibles will apply and be due at time of service.
For nutrition counseling or a wellness assessment, the fee is $180 for an initial consultation. This includes a complete analysis of your nutritional status using all available information, including your most recent laboratory results, medical history, three day food record, and current weight. We will discuss your personal concerns and set some goals. You will also receive specific nutrition recommendations based on your unique needs.
Follow-up appointments are $120 per hour or $60 per half hour session. These appointments are important for building momentum, assessing progress, and gaining support while you adjust to lifestyle change. Even small changes can seem challenging until they are practiced long enough to become habit.
For individual supermarket tours or home pantry makeovers the fee is $120 per hour and will include a personalized summary sheet to help you stay on track with your goals.
Small groups of six or less are welcome for supermarket tours, for the same fee.
